The E-Reunion 2016 was the inaugural online alumni reunion organised by Virora International through its events division, VI Events. The event brought together the 2016 batch of the Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Mysore — a prestigious constituent unit of NCERT, New Delhi.
Designed to reconnect classmates scattered across the country after graduation, the reunion was organised under the heartfelt theme of "Friendship" — a tribute to the bonds forged during their years at one of India's premier teacher education institutions.
Programmes Represented
About the Event
The event brought together alumni from B.Sc.Ed, B.A.Ed and M.Sc.Ed programmes for a full day of shared memories, conversations and celebration. Participants joined from cities across India — reconnecting with batchmates and beloved faculty after years apart.
Special tribute sessions were held to honour the faculty of RIE Mysore — particularly Shaji Sir, Prakash Raj, Jyothi Ma'am, Ravi Sir and Srinath — whose mentorship shaped the lives and careers of everyone present.
